Protect your children, and your neighbor's, from the public schools

Cook County School District No. 126 - Alsip & Oak Lawn, Illinois

Read profane excerpts from book for 8th graders! Students can't use such language at school, and the FCC will fine adults who use such language on the public airwaves, but most educators want junior high students reading such books!  Why?!

DAILY HERALD Newspaper Creates Controversy over Sandy Rios Speech

Sandy Rios delivered an inspired Christian message in Wheaton, Illinois at this year's National Day of Prayer gathering.  The local Daily Herald newspaper was in attendance at this event -- an event that has been organized by Christians for many years.

Although the Daily Herald article implies that Sandy Rios had an opportunity to respond for the initial article, Rios has indicated that she was never contacted by the Herald.  Rios later contacted the Herald and was invited to send a written response, but after a review of her writing, the Herald declined to print it.  In an E-mail correspondence, the Herald indicated that they would not print any of Rios' writings that include "statements of prejudice against any particular religious or ethnic group" and that their "policy generally prohibits theological debates." Yet, in the initial article, the Daily Herald sought out a Muslim who labeled Rios' Christian message as blasphemy and solicited the democrat candidate's theological opinion to label Rios' Christian message as hate speech.
