Who We Are

Culture shaping giants

Culture Campaign exists to help reenlist believers into the culture war one believer at a time. We use the same methods used by the early church to spread the Gospel before the printing press, mass mailings, telemarketing, radio, or television.

Presently, the work needed to protect the unborn, the family, and the church from bad government, is being performed by a select few people. These ordinary people have rearranged their lives for this purpose. Their grit and God's Grace serve as the guard rails holding back a culture determined to barrel over the cliff in pursuit of unquenchable decadence. As Christians, we are all called to steward the many gifts God has given us in this great nation. We believe informed participation in the governing process is part of being a good steward. Participation allows even the busiest believer to become an informed participant in God's gift of self-government.

Mission Statement

To engage Christians in actively living out and declaring biblical truth in a secular, humanistic American culture.

Vision

Education, Media, Academia, Science, Medicine, and Entertainment are key players responsible for shaping our culture. Our vision is to see these institutions [giants] and the policies regulating their conduct, restored to Christian values.

Frequently Asked Questions

I already get information about news and issues from pro-life and pro-family organizations, how is Culture Campaign (CC) different?

There is an abundance of great information out there today, but the primary problem is a shortage of Christians who posses this information. CC is focused on dramatically increasing the number of Christians who are not just informed, but impassioned to participate in the culture war.

By packaging information in a consumer-friendly, time sensitive format combined with a program designed to connect personal relationships, CC will empower you to reach out to your Christian relationships.

Isn't the culture war rooted in sin, wouldn't we better serve Christ through evangelism and changing one heart at a time?

CC believes the great commission [Matt 28:16-20] and the culture mandate [Matt 5:13-16] are inseparable. In short, we must do both. Christ is not just looking for believers but disciples (followers).

A common fallacy is that Christians are outnumbered in America, and we need more of them to effect change. According to an article in Christianity Today, a study of women having abortions found that nearly 18% were self-proclaiming Evangelicals and another 31% were self-proclaiming Catholics. 1.5 million babies are aborted each year, which means over 2,000 babies per day are slain by someone sitting in our pews.

As evidenced by the above statistics, the solution is discipleship, not just evangelism, and as disciples we are to be good stewards [Lk 12:48]. Our ability to vote is a gift from God, and we must steward that gift by being informed, in the same way we steward our time and our treasure.

If the Bible doesn't mention abortion, how can you say that it is morally wrong?

The real question should be, when does God value you and I as individuals who are worthy of love and protection. "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; [Jeremiah 1:5]. "This is what the LORD says- your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the LORD, who has made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself" [Isaiah 44:2].

God does not assign personhood based on size, location, or cognitive ability. In His image [Spirit] we are made, and our value is based on what He gives us, not what we do or have. If a child's parents don't claim him, he is an orphan; he is fatherless. A child, who is aborted, has been abandoned by his parents because they do not claim or protect him. They pay for someone else to dispose of their child. God says, "Cursed is the man who withholds justice from the alien, the fatherless or the widow."[Deut 27:19] He [God] defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the alien, giving him food and clothing. [Deut 10:18] All aborted babies are fatherless children.

God creates penalties for when babies are injured or killed in the womb [Ex 21:22-25].

Jesus commands, "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets."[Matt 17:12] We cannot deny that we were once at the exact same stage of development as every single one of the 43 million babies that have been murdered since 1973, yet no one born alive today would want to share in their fate.

The decision to abort an innocent defenseless baby is an act of judgment, where one judges another's life has no value. "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."[Matt 7:1-2]

If you have had an abortion or participated in one, Jesus offers you forgiveness and He can heal your wounds.

Should spouses sign up together or separately?

We recommend that each spouse should sign up individually. Each spouse has Christian relationships the other does not have, and by signing up individually you can invite more people to stand with you in protecting the unborn, the family, and the church.
